MR05 type AERATION TURBINE, suitable for treating waste water.
The turbine consist of the following:
- Aerator rotor
- Motor reducer unit
- Axle
- Base plate for anchoring
The rotation movement creates a radially dispersed fan, which efficiently stirs the water, and also provides a large oxygen supply, which is very useful in many applications.
Simple and robust construction, made up essentially of a set of shovels forming the rotor, and a motor reducer suitable for continuous operation.
The aeration turbine allows water to be oxygenated to a high level. The system used is considered to be one of the most sophisticated oxygen surface supply means on the market. However, the specific oxygenation of the turbine depends exclusively on the enclosure dimensions.
As standard, a supply of 1.8 to 2 Kg O2 per KWh can be used, for an oxygen demand (DBO5) of:
- Small plants 2 Kg O2 / Kg DBO5
- Large plants 1,4 -1,6 Kg O2 / Kg DBO5
Variations in the effective oxygen supply are obtained if some of the following factors are modified:
- Immersion,
- Rotation speed,
- Operating temperature.
Optional: For enclosures with a variable water level, installed on a float system, made up of a set of three floats joined in a star formation, in the centre of which the aeration turbine is installed. The weight load of said floats is variable, depending on turbine type and working conditions.
