Descriptions and characteristics:
Filtering drum, made from stainless steel with wedge shape sections, which creates a self-cleaning effect. The particles that are too large to pass through, are retained on the surface where they are removed by a removal scraper. Built with variable stages according to demand and the type of flow rate to be treated.
Drive unit, a motor reducer unit installed on one side of the device drives the filtering drum. According to requirements, it can be provided with one or two rotating speeds, thereby increasing the filtering capacity.
Frame, made from metal plating (carbon steel or stainless steel). In it is located the filtering drum and also supports the drive unit. By its construction, two independent enclosures are formed; a top one, which is where the entering effluent is stored, and a bottom one which is where the already filtered liquid is collected.
Waste removal system, this is done by a removal scraper that constantly rubs against the filtering drum, pulling off the waste that sticks to the mesh, collecting it in a container, conveyor belt, etc.
Cleaning system, a series of nozzles provided on the inside of the drum clean the mesh with pressurised water, removing the waste stuck to the outside, it is evacuated together with the filtered water.
