General description

MR52 type FINE SCREEN. Suitable for using in fine filtering process that is part of the industrial depuring waste water and solid recovery processes. It is designed to maximise its performance by working intermittently, thereby minimising wear and increasing the effectiveness of fine filtering thanks to the slow mesh clogging. This creates “cakes” that increase the solids retention capacity and makes it easier for them to break away at the discharge point. Low height from the top of the channel means that the more delicate parts such as the drive unit, transmission tightener and cleaning unit, etc can be accessed immediately.

 Descriptions and characteristics:

Frame.  Monobloc type, composing a stable and resistant unit. Built from stainless steel plate, it supports all the translation elements. Includes height adjustable anchor support to install on site.

Filtering unit.  Designed to avoid abrasion wear. Consists of high resistance filtering elements as made from ABS. They form a continuous filtering mesh. Useful width 3 mm.

Drive Unit.  Consists of a motor reduction unit. A drive axle activates a set of wheels, which engages with the two side conveyor chains, to which the filtering elements are fastened.

Transmission, filtering unit movement.  Two chains are activated by the driving wheels. Chains have a tightening system to operate it when required.

Cleaning unit.  Consists of elastic rakes, driven by a drive unit which, when it rotates, removes the waste that has not been released initially and which has adhered to the filtering elements.
This device is complemented by a set of sprinklers that sprays pressurised water on to the filtering elements.

Control panel.  In order to operate automatically, a control panel must be utilized, according to needs or preferences, this control panel can be programmed to operate on a time delay or head loss. It must also include the overload protection system (torque limiter).
