Frame. Monobloc type, made from steel sections. Made up of two side plates, which support all the translation and automation elements. Transversal beams complete the screen structure, which also supports the bars and the discharge plate. Includes height adjustable anchoring support to install on site.
Bars. Rectangular section. Variable useful width, from 12 mm.
Drive unit. Consist of a motor reducer unit and a drive axle that activates a set of tooth wheels, which engages with two side conveyor chains, where the cleaning rakes are attached.
Transmission, rake movement. Two conveyor chains are moved by the driving wheels. Chains have a tightening system to operate it when required.
Rakes unit. Rakes clean the screen. Fastened at its ends to the conveyor chains, then as it descends, it is separated from the bars. When it reaches the bottom of the screen, it simply rotates and moves in between the bars, and starts to move upwards, collecting all the trapped waste.
Rake cleaning unit. A nylon scraper fastened to a metal plate, this unit is supported by two pivotable arms. The unit removes the waste collected by the cleaning brush. There are two shock absorbers installed to protect the device.
Discharge plate. Variable dimension according to the discharge point and the water height. Makes it possible to discharge waste from a suitable height on to the top of wall channel.
Control panel. In order to operate automatically, a control panel must be utilized, according to needs or preferences, this control panel can be programmed to operate on a time delay or head loss. It must also include an overload protection system (torque limiter).
