MR16A type LONGITUDINAL BRIDGE, suitable for installing in rectangular enclosures.
Descriptions and characteristics:
Walkway unit. Built with boxgirder type steel plating (low section). Handrail on both sides in stainless steel - 1.4401 - EN10088 (AISI 316), and galvanised metallic passage framework. Driving and driven carriages, rigidly attached to both ends of the walkway.
Drive unit. Made up of a motor reducer that drives the main shaft on the end of which the driving wheels are assembled. These wheels, like the driven wheels, are completely metallic so that they can move along the rails.
Guide unit. Rails are anchored to the upper mortaring on both sides of the side walls and in the longitudinal direction.
Grease removal system. Consists of a set of two scrapers which, as they move, they scavenge the area for grease, moving it towards one end of the enclosure where it is discharged into a hopper. The arrangement of the two scrapers removes any possible blind areas. The whole unit hangs from the catwalk. It is driven mechanically. Optionally, and according to the size of the scrapers, electrical traction can be used.
Motor pump unit and extraction piping. Consist of a vertical type motor pump, installed on the bridge walkway. (Not included in the supply).
Electrical supply system. (Optional supply) To be installed throughout the enclosure and on an outer side section thereof. Provides electrical supply to the control panel. Based on a flat cable attached to carriages that slide along a metallic guide. The floor must be at least 80 cm. from the top of the wall.
Automation. This is provided by inductive type end stops. An electrical panel (optional supply) controls the automation of the whole unit. It includes a torque limiter for detecting overloads. The sand removal motor pump is driven simultaneously according to the feed direction of the bridge.
