MR54 Type COMPACT PRETREATMENT, compact plant designed and thought up for initiall urban and industrial waste water treating.
The waste water reaches the unit along the Screw Screen enclosure, which separates the entering solids. The sand forms a sediment at the bottom, where two Conveyor Screws collect it and take it to the surface where it is discharged via a ramp into a container. Grease is homogenized by an air injection system, concentrating on the area where grease is intended to be removed, where a surface scraper performs a scavenging operation towards the collection hopper.
It is very easy to install, and is an advantageous replacement for any conventional public works plant in depuration plants in small towns. As it is a single unit, it only needs to be fixed to the floor of the enclosure and connected to the inlet and outlet piping.
Some of its main advantages that are worth mentioning are its safe operation, the fact that it can be installed in small areas, it does not create odours or splashes and is economical to operate.
It is produced in several standard dimensions, depending on the flow rates to be treated, by modular elements, which also make it easy to transport.
Descriptions and characteristics:
Fine screw screen. Consist of a drive unit, the filtering screen, a feed screw system including a cleaning rake with a raising screw extension and the compacting and draining area.
Grit extraction screws - Coreless worm screws which, when rotating, bear on anti-wear polyethylene cradle.
Grease and floating removal device– Based on an air injection system via a collector located in the lower part of the device. This process is completed by a separating plate provided with special openings and a motorised pulley and cable unit that moves the surface scraper on one side and along the whole enclosure, disposing grease into a hopper at one end of the device.
