Descriptions and characteristics:
Tank with outlet overflow: Closed metal tank, with sand inlet at the top at the back by via a flanged connection. An overflow channel allows the water out. The sand settles at the bottom of the enclosure and is collected by the worm screw. A removal cover is provided at the top for inspection, cleaning, etc.
Worm screw: Coreless conveyor screw that lifts the sand to the top to its discharge point. When it rotates, it bears on an anti-wear polyethylene cradle.
Drive unit: The feed screw is rotated by a motor reducer unit that directly engages the axle of the conveyor screw.
