MR37 GRIT REMOVAL, suitable for removing sand from a de-gritting enclosure.
A set of backward and forward moving scrapers move the sand in an inclined plane to the top, where it can be discharged directly into the container.
Normally installed in channels that are 0.40 to 0.50 m wide, with variable lengths according to the discharging requirements. This unit removes the sand with a high dryness degree, thereby avoiding the draining problems that occur in any other solid-liquid separation system.
It can be installed on a metal structure, forming a monobloc.
The movement and size of the scrapers are designed to correctly remove the sand deposited on the bottom.
An overflow must be provided, which is to set a constant water level.
Descriptions and characteristics:
Mobile frame on which several scrapers are mounted, which will remove the sand.
Drive unit. Consist of a support bedplate, the inertia wheel and the motor reducer.
Transmission. Set of axles and cams that enable the scrapers to shake and move.
