MR21N type THICKENER, for installing in circular type enclosures.
Descriptions and characteristics:
Drive unit. Central driving consisting of a motor reducer unit that directly effects the main axle. It must be provided with a torque limiting device to protect against possible overloads. (electronic module in control panel)
Main axle. Rigidly attached to the drive unit by a flanged link. It transmits all the stress to the bottom scraper unit and drainage pegs. The bottom of the axle is rigidly fastened to the support arms.
Bottom scrapers. Steel section structure made up of two diametrically opposite radial arms. The bottom part supports the scrapers which back onto the elastomer bands that perform the bottom scavenging.
Thickening breakers. Mounted on the scrapper carrying arms and duly braced. Made from laminated steel sections.
Deflector feedwell. Made of steel plating. Designed to calm the incoming water.
